She’s the glue that holds Market together not only by dominating every to-do list in existence, but by keeping our sale transactions and operations humming like a brand-new vacuum cleaner. Note: Heidi’s passion for real estate is equaled only by her love of cleaning. By the numbers, Heidi has been in commercial real estate for more than ten years, once simultaneously managed 1M square feet in Boulder County, and is a proud mother of two. Between getting stuff done like a mother and making our client’s days, she serves on the Board of Mother House Inc. in Boulder. She’s an organizational mastermind, a spiritual gangster and a mic-dropping bedtime story reader.
Accept no substitute for Todd Walsh. Just…don’t. As a Boulder native, Todd offers a level of local expertise unmatched by any other commercial broker. He’s a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM)—a recognition held by only 3% of agents in the nation—and he literally doesn’t know the meaning of “It can’t be done.” If you have an idea, he’ll make it happen come hell or brutal negotiation.Todd’s also a real community man, supporting non-profits and professional organizations including the Make-a-Wish Foundation, Urban Land Institute and Commercial Brokers of Boulder. He loves his hometown, so it’s no wonder he made it both his workplace and his playground. When he’s not working, you can find Todd exploring the Colorado outdoors, traveling or cheering on the CU Buffs with his wife and two kids.
Not too many people end up working in the field they went to school for. Laura Frenkel is one such anomaly, and we count ourselves lucky to have her. From intern to property manager to leasing agent to master-of-all-things-Market, Laura’s worked in commercial real estate since 2010. During her property management days, she completed over 380 transactions worth $7M and 400k SF. But who’s counting? Laura graduated from CU Boulder with a degree in marketing and real estate. Now she pays it forward (or would it be backward?) by mentoring a current sophomore via the school’s Professional Mentorship Program. She’s a born-and-raised Colorado girl who spent college summers leading troops of Boy Scouts through backcountry activities, and we’d be lying if we said those survival skills haven’t come in handy on the job.
Real estate may not have been Rachel Rohrig’s first love, but we’re placing bets that it’ll be her last. Just don’t tell her husband we said that. Before joining Market, this native Boulderite owned a sustainable repurposing company in—wait for it—Las Vegas. Translation: she spent six years reincarnating casinos’ trash into usable treasures like glassware, lights and jewelry. Clearly, she’s pretty into the planet, so it’s no wonder the Colorado outdoors beckoned Rachel back. These days, Rachel brings her proprietary blend of grit and contagious positivity to every partner, project and deal. She’s a born boss with degrees in entrepreneurship and finance. Plus, there’s a heart to go with that brain: Rachel sits on the advisory boards of A Precious Child and Colorado Jazz Group and volunteers at the Boulder Community Food Share.
If somebody had asked us to imagine the ideal broker for our team, we would have come up with Aaron Baney. Like, exactly him. From his love of golf, Sudoku and home improvement to his experience in commercial buildings and technology — our two favorite things — Aaron is basically our raison d’être in human form. It all started with 9 years in the Air Force, a civil engineering degree from the Air Force Academy and a Professional Engineering License. He even flew a F-16 one time, but that’s another story altogether. Before joining Market, Aaron helped grow a commercial real estate software company before transitioning into a full-time broker with 100+ transactions under his belt to date. When he’s not making deals, he’s either hanging with his three sons, eating Korean BBQ or both.
