Find Property:

After the Marshall Fires, a group of Real Estate Professionals from Bolo got together to figure out how we can support our community and our neighbors. It started out as helping families find rentals and has morphed into something much bigger. We are helping families in need fill their temporary homes with furniture and goods, store and move furniture from homes with smoke damage and just be here for anything that comes up.

We have created some google forms and folders to help out Neighbors in need.

For Neighbors who lost their homes:

We have been working diligently to collect furniture items for our neighbors and have realized that there are a lot of soft goods that you want and need. Instead of us picking these items out for you- we would love for YOU to pick them out for yourself and create an Amazon Wish List

Below is information on how to do that. You can then just email us the link and continue to add to it as things change, evolve and new things are needed. We have a community of people near and far who want to help and this is how they can help, by fulfilling items on a wishlist!!

We also have furniture that is available – below is a link to items that have been donated. They are all slightly used but in good shape and we have a way to get beds as well. If you want any of the furniture, please make a comment/change the name on the photo to your name and we will connect with you specifically.

How to create an  Amazon Wishlist:

From there, we will do our best to spread the word and secure these items for you. Items on the list you create will be shipped to the address associated with your Amazon account so please make sure that’s up to date.

To create a List:
  1. Go to Account & Lists and select Your Lists.
  2. Select Create a List and insert a list name.
  3. Select Create List.
  4. Select the three dots menu, and Manage List to update your shipping address and other preferences.
  5. Select Save Changes.

For Community Members who want to help:

Below are short stories and photos of specific neighbors that we are helping as  well as their link to their Amazon Wishlist. Please click the links and anything you buy will ship directly to them! This is a quick and easy way to help our community.

The Harvey Family – Two Adults and Two Kids

“The Harvey Family (Donald, Bekah, Paige (19), and Mia (16)) and our dogs (Sugar and Winnie) are so grateful for the outpouring of support from our community following the Marshall Fire. On the day of the fire, Bekah went to work as usual in the morning, and Donald had a doctor’s appointment scheduled in Boulder in the early afternoon. When we each left the house that day, we did not anticipate anything life-changing. Fortunately, Mia convinced Donald to grab the dogs before we left the house since she was aware of a pre-evacuation notice for our area. While monitoring our doorbell camera later that afternoon, smoke got incredibly thick, then the feed went dead. We also watched 20-foot-high flames on the news at the east end of our street. (The fire started west of us.) There were several hours where we were convinced that our house was gone. Amazingly, our house was spared in spite of damage very close on all sides. But the high winds and close proximity to fire resulted in ash and soot piled up on our windowsills, deposited on our walls, carpet, and furniture, and the general smell of an ashtray. On Friday, March 4th (64 days after the fire) with the help and support of so many in our community, we all slept in our own beds in our own house for the first time following the fire. We are working to replace smoke-damaged items, but we are so glad to be home.”
