Doug’s Diner Makes Its Way To 2574 Baseline

The odds might have not been in everyone’s favor, but Laura Frenkel emerged as Katniss when she found the new tenants for 2574 Baseline Road, a restaurant space represented by Market Real Estate at the Basemar Shopping Center at Broadway and Baseline Road. The last two years of circumstances have left the world feeling unchanging or backlogged, and yet Laura’s dedication to this property and the parties involved lead to a great outcome for all.

That is, without the archery and nightlock berries.

And now, we welcome Doug’s Day Diner to 2574 Baseline. Formerly located at the southeast corner of Folsom and Arapahoe, the diner recently closed down but will relocate to Basemar with plans to open any day now.

Laura described this particular job as a long time coming. While many can relate, for business owners and their respective real estate brokers, a special kind of patience has been imperative when navigating commercial deals through the pandemic. Yet in the face of utter transience, where deals may happen far more gradually than anticipated, Laura championed this one for the property owners.
