Modular Robotics Expands Operations to New Space

January 30, 2015 – After a successful $3.1 Million Dollar round of venture capital in November of 2014 as well as a decision to manufacture their robots in Boulder, Modular Robotics needed more space.

Modular Robotics (www.modrobotics.com), designs, manufactures and distributes innovative toy robot systems.

With over 40 employees and growing, Modular Robotics recently secured a long-term lease on the former post office at 1860 38th Street. With approximately 14,271 square feet the building has ample space for the company to continue to expand.

Todd Walsh represented Modular Robotics in the transaction, and Paul Kresge of Vista Commercial Advisors represented Post Property Limited Partnership.

Formerly located at 3085 Bluff Street, the company saw the former post office space as a building that provided a lot of room to grow their business as well as create their vision. “The company’s plan for the property will be to rehab the building into a high tech workshop to build and innovate their robotic inventions. When so many companies choose to send assembly to China, I am very proud to have assisted them in finding affordable office and industrial space in Boulder for them to keep those jobs here.” said Walsh.
